Does the Escondido Mellow still exist? It was used in the 70s for skin cancer treatment.? - skin cancer treatment

When I was young, and those near Escondido, CA, Mellon was in the country which worked very well cultivated in the treatment of skin cancer from my stepfather. She could not eat anything because it flush toxic, but in the skin, a quick cancer. It was a heavy equipment for construction of homes in Rancho Bernardo, is the sun for long.

The treatment has worked well, but then withdrew, and Northern California, which was no need to move for several years. Now at 80, is back in force. I find no reference to the Escondido Mellon via the Internet.
