I worked for in fundraising, but I want to try something new (and not too complicated). All ideas that have been proven successful are greatly appreciated!

After the children also work in a common class art project (so that each child individually on their share of the work), are very well trained and they offer at an auction hang in City Hall, during the month of awareness for autism with an offer sheet on. Or the person of the art / photography of children made. In this way, people can see that children with autism to use skills and raise funds.
There are organizations who are raising funds for autism. Google, then a couple of successful organizations for comment.
Contact your local hospital. You will usually find an information office that will help you what you need on your local or state has fundraising.
The best thing to do is to involve people who know about autism. You can help the right information to the public. Help raise awareness and education, to bring money, but also tolerance and understanding.
Good luck, and I congratulate you want to do something so important.
How about an autism awareness of March. Where can you promise to share money from the people for a walk at some distance. Or awareness ribbons autism or sale of jerseys. Also, remember that the families of children with autism in question.
In fact, all ideas, but should accept about autism, and not the cure.
Develop a fun event focused on attracting large crowds. No silent auction of donated items, sale of food and beverages, for a raffle or auction of China, and all the activities of fundraising, your chosen event.
